Heed Heed (h[=e]d), v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Heeded}; p. pr. & vb. n. {Heeding}.] [OE. heden, AS. h[=e]dan; akin to OS. h[=o]dian, D. hoeden, Fries. hoda, OHG. huoten, G. h["u]ten, Dan. hytte. [root]13.
