Anthophore An"tho*phore, n. [Gr. ? bearing flowers; 'a`nqos flower + ? bearing, fe`rein to bear.] (Bot.) The stipe when developed into an internode between calyx and corolla, as in the Pink family. --Gray. [1913 Webster]
