Guerdon Guer"don, n. [OF. guerdon, guerredon, LL. widerdonum (influenced by L. donum gift, cf. {Donation} ), fr. OHG. widarl[=o]n; widar again, against (G. wider wieder) + l[=o]n reward, G. lohn, akin to AS. le['a]n Goth. laun.
