Gammer
Gammer Gam"mer (g[a^]m"m[~e]r), n. [Possibly contr. fr. godmother; but prob. fr. grammer for grandmother. Cf. {Gaffer}.] An old wife; an old woman; -- correlative of {gaffer}, an old man. [1913 Webster]
