Evaginate E*vag"i*nate, a. [L. evaginatus, p. p., unsheathed. See {Evagination}.] Protruded, or grown out, as an evagination[2]; turned inside out; unsheathed; evaginated; as, an evaginate membrane. [Webster 1913 Suppl.]
