Etacism E"ta*cism, n. [Gr. ? the letter ?, ?. Cf. {Itacism}.] (Greek Gram.) The pronunciation of the Greek [eta] (eta) like the Italian e long, that is like a in the English word ate. See {Itacism}. [1913 Webster]
