Dowel Dow"el, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Doweled}or {Dowelled}; p. pr. & vb. n. {Doweling} or {Dowelling}.] To fasten together by dowels; to furnish with dowels; as, a cooper dowels pieces for the head of a cask. [1913 Webster]
