Note: The larger medus[ae] belong to the Discophora, and are
sometimes called {covered-eyed medus[ae]}; others,
known as {naked-eyed medus[ae]}, belong to the
Hydroidea, and are usually developed by budding from
hydroids. See {Discophora}, {Hydroidea}, and
{Hydromedusa}.
