Cark Cark (k[aum]rk), n. [OE. cark, fr. a dialectic form of F. charge; cf. W. carc anxiety, care, Arm karg charge, burden. See {Charge}, and cf. {Cargo}.] A noxious or corroding care; solicitude; worry. [Archaic.] [1913 Webster]
