Bromal Bro"mal (br[=o]"mal), n. [Bromine + aldehyde.] (Chem.) An oily, colorless fluid, {CBr3.COH}, related to bromoform, as chloral is to chloroform, and obtained by the action of bromine on alcohol. [1913 Webster]
