Yakoots
Yakoots Ya*koots", n. pl.; sing. {Yakoot}. (Ethnol.) A nomadic Mongolian tribe native of Northern Siberia, and supposed to be of Turkish stock. They are mainly pastoral in their habits. [Written also {Yakuts}.] [1913 Webster]
