Ursula Ur"su*la, n. (Zo["o]l.) A beautiful North American butterfly ({Basilarchia astyanax} syn. {Limenitis astyanax}). Its wings are nearly black with red and blue spots and blotches. Called also {red-spotted purple}. [1913 Webster]
