Trachoma Tra*cho"ma, n. [NL., fr. Gr. ? roughness, fr. ? rough.] (Med.) a contagious granular conjunctivitis caused by the bacterium {Chlamydia trachomatis}. It is a chronic inflammation of the conjunctiva -- {Tra*chom"a*tous}, a. [Webster 1913 Suppl.]
