Thomsen's disease Thom"sen's dis*ease" [From Thomsen, a physician of Sleswick.] (Med.) An affection apparently congenital, consisting in tonic contraction and stiffness of the voluntary muscles occurring after a period of muscular inaction. [1913 Webster]
