Stauroscope Stau"ro*scope (st[add]"r[-o]*sk[=o]p), n. [Gr. stayro`s a cross + -scope.] (Crystallog.) An optical instrument used in determining the position of the planes of light-vibration in sections of crystals. [1913 Webster]
