Stagy Sta"gy (st[=a]"j[y^]), a. [Written also {stagey}.] Having an air or manner characteristic of the stage; theatrical; artificial; as, a stagy tone or bearing; -- chiefly used depreciatively. [Webster 1913 Suppl.]
