Spanaemia Spa*n[ae]"mi*a, n. [NL., fr. Gr. ? scarce + ? blood.] (Med.) A condition of impoverishment of the blood; a morbid state in which the red corpuscles, or other important elements of the blood, are deficient. [1913 Webster]
