Skulk Skulk, v. i. [imp. & p. p. {Skulked}; p. pr. & vb. n. {Skulking}.] [Of Scand. origin; cf. Dan. skulke to spare or save one's self, to play the truant, Sw. skolka to be at leisure, to shirk, Icel. skolla.
