Shrubby horsetail
Horsetail Horse"tail`, n. 1. (Bot.) A leafless plant, with hollow and rushlike stems. It is of the genus {Equisetum}, and is allied to the ferns. See Illust. of {Equisetum}. [1913 Webster]
