Serry Ser"ry, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Serried}; p. pr. & vb. n. {Serrying}.] [F. serrer, LL. serrare, serare, from L. sera a bar, bolt; akin to serere to join or bind together. See {Serries}.] To crowd; to press together.
