Semeiotics
Semeiotics Se`mei*ot"ics (s[=e]`m[-i]*[o^]t"[i^]ks), or Semiotics Se`mi*ot"ics, n. 1. The study of signs as an element of communication; the analysis of systems of communication; -- also called {semiology}. [PJC]
