Barometz Bar"o*metz, n. [Cf. Russ. baranets' clubmoss.] (Bot.) The woolly-skinned rhizoma or rootstock of a fern ({Dicksonia barometz}), which, when specially prepared and inverted, somewhat resembles a lamb; -- called also {Scythian lamb}. [1913 Webster]
