Corallin Cor"al*lin, n. [So named in allusion to the color of red corallin, fr. L. corallum coral.] (Chem.) A yellow coal-tar dyestuff which probably consists chiefly of rosolic acid. See {Aurin}, and {Rosolic acid} under {Rosolic}. [1913 Webster]
