Pyrites
Pyrite Pyr"ite, n.; pl. {Pyrites}. [Cf. F. pyrite. See {Pyrites}.] (Min.) A common mineral of a pale brass-yellow color and brilliant metallic luster, crystallizing in the isometric system; iron pyrites; iron disulphide. [1913 Webster]
