Pycnodont Pyc"no*dont, n. [Gr. ? thick, crowded + ?, ?, a tooth.] (Paleon.) Any fossil fish belonging to the Pycnodontini. They have numerous round, flat teeth, adapted for crushing. [1913 Webster]
