Petasites vulgaris
Pestilence Pes"ti*lence, n. [F. pestilence, L. pestilentia. See {Pestilent}.] 1. Specifically, the disease known as the plague; hence, any contagious or infectious epidemic disease that is virulent and devastating. [1913 Webster]
