Periphrastic Per`i*phras"tic, Periphrastical Per`i*phras"tic*al, a. [Gr. ?: cf. F. p['e]riphrastique.] Expressing, or expressed, in more words than are necessary; characterized by periphrase; circumlocutory. [1913 Webster]
