Aspirate As"pi*rate, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Aspirated}; p. pr. & vb. n. {Aspirating}.] [L. aspiratus, p. p. of aspirare to breathe toward or upon, to add the breathing h; ad + spirare to breathe, blow.
