Magnetomotive Mag`net*o*mo"tive, a. [Magneto- + motive, a.] (Elec.) Pertaining to, or designating, a force producing magnetic flux, analogous to electromotive force, and equal to the magnetic flux multiplied by the magnetic reluctance. [Webster 1913 Suppl.]
