Lithontriptic Lith`on*trip"tic, a. [Gr. li`qos, acc. ?, a stone + ? to rub, grind: cf. F. lithontriptique.] (Med.) Having the quality of, or used for, dissolving or destroying stone in the bladder or kidneys; as, lithontriptic forc['e]ps. -- n. A lithontriptic remedy or agent, as distilled water. [1913 Webster]
